Maths Inspiration is returning to New South Wales in 2017.

Shows in 2016 were sold out. 2017 shows will go on sale during Term 1 so save the date for the locations and shows below.

Inspire your students to study STEM subjects to HSC and beyond!

This year our performers are Matt Parker, Jen Rogers and Rob Eastaway.

Matt Parker is known as the "stand-up mathematician" and is the only person to hold the prestigious title of London Mathematical Society Popular Lecturer while simultaneously having a sold-out comedy show at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Matt is always keen to mix his two passions of mathematics and stand-up as well as presenting TV and radio shows. In 2014 his first book, Things to Make and Do in the Fourth Dimension, was published in the UK and USA.

Jen Rogers studied Mathematics with Statistics at Lancaster University before going to the University of Warwick to do her PhD. She is now research fellow in the Department of Statistics at the University of Oxford. She has appeared as an expert statistician in the TV programmes Long Live Britain and Mystery Map - in which she calculated the chance of dying from spontaneous human combustion!

Rob Eastaway  is an author whose books on everyday maths include the bestselling Why Do Buses Come In Threes? and The Hidden Maths of Sport. He was once a mathematical puzzle setter for New Scientist magazine. He's an avid cricket player and fan, and was helped devise the international rankings of cricketers.  He appears regularly on the BBC national radio to talk about the maths of everyday life and has given maths talks across the world to audiences of all ages.
