Participants
will explore various statistical concepts including data classifications,
sampling techniques, measures of location, measures of spread and shape of data
displays. They engage with a range of interesting problems, such as considering
the differences between types of averages.
Participants
will leave this course armed with knowledge and understanding of data
collection, representation and analysis techniques, as well as activities ready
to use with their students.
