Participants explore the use of cell referencing, formulas, simple functions, formatting and inserting graphs. Participants use pre-built spreadsheets to consider what is possible, before constructing their own spreadsheets with guidance and reflecting upon how to support students to develop spreadsheet skills. 

Participants will leave this course confident in building basic spreadsheets and empowered to support students in developing spreadsheet skills relevant to the NSW Mathematics Syllabus. They will also receive a package of sample spreadsheets and instructions to assist their learning beyond the course.

This course is designed for teachers of Stage 4-6 Mathematics who are new to using spreadsheets, those who require a refresher, or those who are looking for tools to support them with developing the skills of their students with spreadsheets.
